External venetian blinds

External Venetian Blinds

External Venetian blinds are one of the most popular outdoor shading solutions in modern architecture. Their elegant appearance enhances the character of the building while providing effective protection against sunlight. Thanks to the adjustable aluminium slats, the amount and direction of natural light can be precisely controlled, keeping rooms bright without allowing them to overheat. External Venetian blinds also contribute to improving the energy efficiency of the building and reducing summer cooling costs.

Operation

External Venetian blinds are the outdoor version of Venetian blinds, and they are operated from inside the building. The slats can be raised and tilted using a manual crank or motorized control, allowing everyone to find the solution that best suits their needs.

Motorized external Venetian blinds can be controlled with a remote control, wall switch, or even a smartphone application. Group control, timed operation, and connection to a smart home system are also available as options.

Slats

Umbroll external Venetian blinds are made with high-quality, edge-rolled aluminium slats that provide high rigidity and excellent wind resistance. Thanks to their special profiling, they guarantee stable and reliable operation even with larger-sized shading systems.

The slats are available in several designs:

• C slat – classic, versatile design.
• S slat – modern appearance, better closure, and more effective light blocking.
• Z slat – premium design, excellent light blocking, and quiet operation.

Automation

Motorized external Venetian blinds can also be equipped with intelligent control options that further increase comfort and energy efficiency.

Optional accessories available:

• radio control
• wind sensor
• sunlight sensor
• rain sensor
• intelligent building and smart home control

Thanks to automatic control, the external Venetian blinds can always adapt to the current weather conditions, helping maintain a pleasant indoor climate while reducing energy consumption.

Colour Selection

The slats feature a durable, weather-resistant lacquered finish and are available in colours from the VSR colour chart, which correspond to shades in the RAL colour system. If a custom RAL colour is requested, only the edge-rolled C slats can be powder-coated. If required, please ask our specialists for advice! For manually operated external Venetian blinds, we provide a white crank handle, which cannot be powder-coated.
